Legacy app builds: Until you install a newer iOS version, in-app links may still open memovana.com for privacy or support. That domain previously hosted shared legal pages. dreamervana.com is the canonical policy for DreamerVana going forward.

This Privacy Policy explains how the DreamerVana mobile apps and the dreamervana.com website (the “Services”) handle information. “We,” “us,” and “our” refer to the operator of dreamervana.com.

This page is a consumer-facing description for the App Store, Google Play (when listed), and this website. It is not legal advice.

1. Who this applies to

This Policy applies to visitors of dreamervana.com and users of DreamerVana on iPhone (and Android when distributed) . Apple and Google have their own privacy practices for App Store / Play purchases, system backup, and platform AI features.

2. No DreamerVana account

DreamerVana does not require you to create a DreamerVana username, email, or password on our servers. Optional Premium Continuity uses the iCloud account already on your device — not a separate DreamerVana login.

3. Information on your device

Depending on features you use, the app may store on your phone or iPad:

• Dream entries (text, titles, tags, favorites, locks, archive state)
• Voice recordings and speech-to-text transcripts you create
• Interpretation history, symbol notes, Ask threads, and pattern summaries derived from your journal
• In-app preferences, widget configuration, and entitlement state from the App Store or Google Play

This content is processed to show your journal, generate on-device readings, and enforce Free vs Premium limits. It is not uploaded to DreamerVana-operated servers as part of normal journaling.

4. Permissions and on-device processing

Microphone and speech recognition

If you choose voice capture, DreamerVana requests microphone access and may use speech recognition on your device to produce live captions and transcripts. Audio and transcripts remain on your device unless you export them or enable Premium Continuity.

Face ID / device passcode

Optional Face ID, Touch ID, or device passcode can gate access to the Dream Vault. Biometric data is handled by iOS — we do not receive your face or fingerprint templates.

HealthKit (read-only, optional)

With your permission, DreamerVana may read limited sleep-related HealthKit data for chart context alongside your journal. The app does not write health records and does not use Health data for advertising. Sleep context is not sleep coaching or medical monitoring.

On-device interpretation and platform AI

Readings, Ask responses, and related wording are generated on your device from your dream text. On supported iPhones, Apple platform intelligence may help polish phrasing; where unavailable, a local engine produces the reading. We do not describe internal model prompts on this page; outputs are designed to stay grounded in what you wrote.

Apple Watch (optional)

A companion watch app may send quick-capture payloads to your paired iPhone over Apple’s watch connectivity APIs. We do not operate a separate cloud inbox for watch capture.

5. Optional Premium Continuity (iCloud)

If you subscribe to Premium and explicitly enable private iCloud Continuity, encrypted dream data may sync through Apple CloudKit in your private database. Apple hosts that storage; we do not have routine access to read your Continuity journal like a cloud dashboard. You can turn Continuity off in app settings.

6. What we do not do

• We do not sell your personal information.
• We do not run third-party advertising or attribution SDKs in the DreamerVana app (as of the last in-repo verification noted in product docs).
• We do not use your dreams to train public generative models.
• We do not provide medical, psychological, or diagnostic services.

7. Purchases

Optional DreamerVana Premium subscriptions (com.dreamervana.premium.monthly, com.dreamervana.premium.yearly) are processed by Apple through the App Store . We receive subscription status signals needed to unlock features, not your full payment card details.

8. Support email and this website

If you contact support@dreamervana.com, we receive your message and email metadata to respond. The dreamervana.com site may log standard web server data (IP address, user agent, pages requested) through your host — we use that only to operate and secure the site.

9. Exports and sharing

You may export or share journal content using in-app tools (for example plain text, PDF, JSON, or backup formats on Premium). Anything you send outside the app (email, AirDrop, files) is under your control and subject to the recipient’s policies.

10. Children

DreamerVana is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age in your region). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through our servers because we do not operate a child-facing login service.

11. Changes

We may update this Policy. We will revise the “Last updated” date above. Material changes may also be noted in-app or on this page. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Policy.
